The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. A meadow in a natural area in Edmonton, Alberta. Taken on Sept. 3 and although there's still plenty of green in the landscape a hint of Autumn is beginning to show on some of the poplars and in the smaller shrubs. The banks of the North Saskatchewan River in the distance are already clad in reds and oranges.

A self taught Albertan photographer, I enjoy the outdoors and photographing Alberta's natural landscapes. Alberta has much to offer for the artist - mountains, boreal forest, lakes and rivers, aspen parkland and prairie, and I love to try and capture the essence of these in my photographs.
