Wow. I can't begin to imagine how hard your granddad and his peers must have had to work back in those days. For sure a far cry from the 100s of thousands of dollars for equipment these days. Around here a lot of the farmers are big time John Deere fans, and wouldn't have any other kind of machine on the property. f/v
