I took this photo of these mountain ash leaves into the sun, which created a delicate, translucent effect through the leaves. The mountain ash or sorbus, is native to both Europe and North America but introduced varities from Europe, where it is called the Rowan Tree, are commonly grown as ornamentals. Hdr enhanced photograph taken in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
