Artist's Description
An antique teapot that belonged to my grandmother - Baba means grandmother in Ukrainian. It's at least 50 years old and probably much more than that. The cream and sugar are modern but there's a sunflower design on them and the sunflower is popular in Ukrainian culture.
About Jim Sauchyn
A self taught Albertan photographer, I enjoy the outdoors and photographing Alberta's natural landscapes. Alberta has much to offer for the artist - mountains, boreal forest, lakes and rivers, aspen parkland and prairie, and I love to try and capture the essence of these in my photographs.
